Can You Spot What's Different? @ 9/09/2011

It's a new layout! I tweaked it a little for my own viewing pleasure, and no music at the startup. But I think it's as good as it's going to get for a while. There's no comment button unfortunately but that's ok. I think most of you guys go on my youtube channel anyways. I will be updating on my youtube channel soon. I've always wanted to do a favorites video and my camera is finally finally fixed. Thank you for the continued support. I hope to be updating on my life again.

With love,

Mai

StyleNanda Review & Giveaway @ 3/28/2011

Let me start off by saying that I was not paid to review these products. This is 100% of my honest opinion.
I received three products from StyleNanda a month ago to review and I'm glad to say that this is one of the more positives one I've done in a while. For those of you who don't know, StyleNanda is a South Korean clothing website that also sells circle lenses and cosmetics.

Their makeup line is called "3 Concept Eyes" and includes a range of products from foundation to eyeshadow.
I chose a foundation, a lipstick, and a gel eyeliner. They also generously sent me 3 additional items for each product that I will be giving away!!! That's a total of 9 lucky winners (:

For those of you who like to online shop they do ship worldwide. There is a flat rate fee of $20 if your total is under $100. A flat rate fee of $10 for purchases $100-200 and free shipping for totals $200+ You can check out their site here: stylenanda.com
This is the Liquid Foundation from the line. The packaging is super
chic and pretty inexpensive.

I honestly use this lipstick alot. It's probably one of my favorites.
It's a light pink that goes on matte.

I love this gel liner. It's black black and goes on smooth and stays on!

As you can see the color blends in really well and it looks extremely natural. This is a very light foundation so if you're looking
for a foundation with more coverage you would probably have to use concealer. It does not break me out unlike
other foundations so i'm extremely happy about that. There's a yellow tint to the foundation which is great also.
The thing about this foundation is that it smells extremely good. Really. 4.5/5

I absolutely adore this lipstick. It's a pale pink with orange undertones and goes great with any eye makeup I happen to be doing that day. The only downfall though is that it's quite unyielding to chapped/dry lips and will sink into the lines making it worse. Use chapstick/vasaline if you want it too look good. I really wished that they made this creamier because it would have been a perfect lipstick if not for that (even if I really do adore it). 3.5/5

Here's the color on my lips. It might wash somebody really pale out though.

Lastly is the gel liner. Very creamy and goes on very easily. It comes in a black and brown but I chose black. Stays on all day and comes off with warm water. The brush can be used to make thick or thin lines but if not careful can be a little clumpy here or there. 4/5 overall.

How do I win?

Lioele Review & liliesshop.net @ 3/08/2011

This review has been quite overdue for sometime now. I started out not really knowing what the big hype over Lioele products was about and came out a avid fan. The products were sent to me from liliesshop.net to review and I have to say, Lioele has the cutest products ever! You can visit their site here. They mostly cater to Lioele makeup and skincare but do have circle lens, korean/chinese style clothing, & wigs & hair extensions. They're based in Canada so you can expect fast shipping! It's really easy to get in touch with if you have any questions with a product or order.

Use Code xlemai to get 5% off your entire order.

The 3 products I recieved were Lioele's Triple the Solution BB Cream, Lioele's Blooming Highlighter, & Lioele's Skin Fix Powder (Oil Control).

Let's start off with the Triple the Solution BB Cream. Alot of people have actually review this so i'll keep it kind of short. This is not to be confused with Beyond the Solution BB Cream which has similar packaging.
This is just with one swatch. It's a bit yellow for my arm but matches perfectly with my face.
It blends in very well. Even though it goes on thicker than foundation, it's still very blendable and will hide any marks you may have. The bb cream has SPF 30 and claims to whiten and help with wrinkles. I don't know if it helps with wrinkles because I don't have any. My skin is already pretty pale so I haven't seen a huge difference with my skin tone.

This is compared to my Missha BB Perfect Cover BB cream. Missha's is alot more beige and has a gray cast.
Lioele's BB cream matches with me much more.

Overall 4.5/5
I took off .5 because when taking pictures my face will look whiter and that's the only real flaw of any BB cream. This doesn't break me out at all and that's actually quite surprising because I have super super sensitive skin.

The second thing I received was the Blooming Highlighter.

It actually matches my skin tone quite well. Nice shimmer
and blends very nicely. Also very natural and does not break me out.

5/5
Perfect highlighter! I don't know if this will work on darker skin because it's very similar to a bb cream but not as heavy.

The last thing that was sent to me was the Powder Skin Fix for Oil Control.
The powder is really nice and fine. For me it's not cakey at all
when I apply it after foundation and concealer.

The only thing I have a problem is the smell. It's really weird and
I don't know how to describe it.
It's more truculent than having an actual color.
3.5/5
I really don't like the smell. Other than that it's a great powder and it's great to carry around.

Apologies and Updates @ 3/06/2011

It seems like I continuously have to apologize for not updating my blog as much as I need/want to.
School has been so hectic! Still excuses are done with and I will be back to blogging this week.
I got a new camera so everything will be in HD (: Thank you to everyone who has been sending me emails
and waiting patiently for my next update.

I have so much to review and I have a new giveaway planned too! My new video will be up soon so please just wait a little more.

On the bright side, I did go shopping & found these darling pair of BCBG heels. I used to have bright orange ones but unfortunately time did the wear and tear. Therefore I decided I would go for red ones (:
BCBG has my vote in most comfortable footwear. I have alot and always always love BCBG heels because of comfort and style.

They were a steal for only $20!

Anddddddd my hair is black to back and I absolutely adore it (: There's something so much more powerful about dark hair.
